Yippee!!!

Hi everyone, just a quick note to say this blog has just had a mention on the celebrity nudity site Scoopy.net. Now I know some of you will frown on this, but Scoopy.net is read by tens of thousands of people everyday, and all publicity is, as they say, good publicity! Besides which, the 'Other Crap' section (which is where my blog gets a mention) rarely features any nekkidness, and I've got some cracking links off there in the past. Take a look at the free version and look for the 'Other Crap' bit. I'm well made up!

Ibiza Spotlight

The good folks at Ibiza-Spotlight.com (Hi James & Stephen!) have posted an article on the Danny Torres Foundation. You can read it here. For all the information you could want, and for a fun and informative forum, try Ibiza Spotlight today. It's by far the best Ibiza site on the net.

Dark Tribe 8th April @ Castro's, Bristol [Review]

Firstly may I appologise for the late release of this review- I've been feeling a bit poorly sick after the weekend, so I'm a bit behind.
ANYWAY, here we go:
OK, Castro's isn't the best looking club in the world, in fact the basement is a bit of a shocker & wouldn't have surprised me if there were rats down there. It's a dingey little place with few redeeming features. BUT, last Friday night Alex Absolute had put together a line-up anyone would've been proud of. The cream of the local small time DJ's had got together to perform, and professional to the end, they all put in 100% and made the place come alive!
I got there in time for Boris' set which got the (predominantly) young crowd bouncing with obvious glee. Next came Giles (Fungi-Psy'd) and Darren (Rana) back-to-back and they were incredible!!! I'd been looking forward to their set and did they diappoint? Quite the opposite! The Toadstool DJ's had done themselves proud. Next came Ripsnorter head guy and Tribe of Frog resident DJ Pod. Martin brought his usual enthusiasm to bear and had the room rocking with his infectious brand of trance with a psychedelic edge. Last but by certainly no means least came Alex Absolute himself with a set that whilst a little dark for my taste, really tore the roof of for the remaining crowd.
Inbetween times I'd popped upstairs for a looksee, and there was quality trance and techno being played up there and in the basement was hardhouse/hardcore.
Overall:
The psy-trance room was excellent, all the DJ's played excellent sets, and it was a really good night. It was a real shame that there wasn't more people there. BUT, now Alex tells me he's got his flyers sorted, there should be many more people at future events.
On a personal note, I know Alex Absolute- he's a sound lad and an excellent young DJ. This night deserves YOUR support, and so does he. See you on 27th May for the next one.
